Head of Sales

Zabble is looking for a fully-remote experienced sales leader to drive sales execution for our seed-stage zero-waste SaaS company. The Head of Sales will work closely with Zabble’s CEO & Founder, to identify, nurture and acquire customers in the commercial buildings, hospitals, and universities spaces. This leader will be the first sales hire at Zabble focused on acquiring our next 100 customers, creating our growth playbook and shaping our sales strategy across these growing markets.

The right sales leader will have:

  • demonstrated experience building pipeline, with a focus on relationship-building skills to architect deals and win new business
  • the ability to communicate the value of Zabble today, while driving a vision for a customer’s zero-waste future, and
  • know how to build a business case for customers to fund new and innovative projects. The ideal candidate is metrics oriented and fails-fast. Our #1 goal is acquiring new customers (and helping them reach their Zero Waste Goals faster!)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Here are the skills you’ll need:

  • Run the direct sales strategy for your enterprise prospects and accounts, identify key stakeholders, qualify opportunities and obstacles and build customer relationships
  • Grow and manage pipeline activity through new business development and execute outbound sales activities
  • Work with marketing and business development to deepen engagement within your target accounts and quickly move opportunities to close
  • Fully identify and understand the customer's decision process and internal commercial and purchasing policies
  • Manage entire sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, evaluation, proposal, and hand-off
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales quota, contributing to ACV revenue goals
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue numbers
  • Use in-depth knowledge of industry trends to consult and support prospective customers
  • Leadership experience in or reporting to C-level, VP or Head of Sales roles.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS products
  • Experience selling to Environmental/Hospitality/Facilities Services, Finance teams and/or Sustainability teams
  • Experience building and closing pipeline in new markets
  • Experience in deal development and negotiation
  • Executive presence and credibility
  • Experience selling to multiple lines of business in an organization
  • Familiarity selling customer experience or analytic solutions idea
  • Training/familiarity with SPIN selling and Predictable Revenue

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • $1M Quota
  • Sales cycle is 9-12 months with the objective to shorten it
  • Two products released. Company has a land and expand strategy. Poised for growth this year.
  • Generous base salary + 50/50 split; commission uncapped

Remote Back-end Developer or Intern (Python, AWS)

ABOUT YOU:
You are sharp, creative and detail-oriented. You love working with other people in a remote capacity. You are a fast learner and can get things done without much help. You take initiative to streamline processes, identify bottlenecks and promptly respond to critical issues. You like being organized with your documentation and code and maintain a high standard for quality.

IN ADDITION: 
You will also have the following qualifications.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a full time employee developing Python applications and AWS backend services
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship 

WHAT THE ROLE NEEDS:
We are looking for a backend developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of mobile and web applications.Your primary focus will be on implementation and delivery of ground breaking algorithms for real-time waste analytics and their integration with back-end services in AWS. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

  • Strong programming knowledge in AWS Python SDK for Cognito, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, Kinesis.
  • Working knowledge of admin-related activities with AWS including setting up IAM roles, policies and permissions
  • Detailed understanding of frameworks like Django and Flask
  • Strong understanding of database architectures like SQL and NoSQL
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect web and mobile applications to AWS back-end services
  • Basic knowledge of charts, plots and analytical tools

Bonus points if you have experience with Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence. Even more bonus points for previous working experience in Agile software development and sprint management.

COMPENSATION:

  • $30-50 Hourly Pay for 20 hours per week
  • No other Benefits such as Insurance, Retirement Plan, Vacation or Sick Days
  • This is strictly a contract role with opportunity to convert to full-time
